BIO

Tabitha Bland is a student at Arizona State University. She is a journalism major, in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She is also pursuing a Criminology and Criminal Justice minor. She is working towards a career as a reporter, with a specific interest in working on investigative pieces. 

Her goal is to spend her time working in front of a camera, specifically field reporting. She is currently a broadcast reporter for Cronkite News, Arizona PBS. She was the short-form video editor and anchor for the Arizona State Press. She was also a part of The Cut Network, a student-run news show during for two years, where she anchored and reported. Aside from working with a camera, she has experience in print journalism. She was published by multiple AZ newspapers in Fall 2021. Although she enjoys writing her heart stays with broadcast journalism.


Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Tabitha moved to California at the age of 10. She lived in Rocklin, California, where she attended Whitney High School. There, she was a part of their school broadcasting program WCTV19. They were awarded "Best Daily Taped Show in the Nation" two years in a row.

With a minor in criminal justice and a passion for investigative journalism, her goal is to be a voice of truth. She believes that every day that she wakes up and works hard is just one day closer to a successful future.
